Access to the Church
If you have issues with mobility you might want to read the following before you visit St Peter’s.
The main path into church from Normanton Lane (where the car park is) involves four broad stone steps. These are not suitable for wheelchairs, though there is a handrail if you are more mobile.
Level access is off Church Street via a driveway opposite the back of St Peter’s School. This area is not suitable for vehicles and there is no parking, but if you need a wheelchair these are available to borrow from the church.
Inside there is level access across the public areas of the church and our toilets are disabled friendly. There is a loop system for the hard of hearing and liturgy and songs for the main services are displayed on screens around the church.
