What we do:

During the week:

Our mid-week service is every Wednesday at 10.30am alternating between morning prayer and Holy Communion. During Advent and Lent there is a communion service every Wednesday.

Complementing our services on a Sunday there is a variety of groups meeting during the week.

Home Groups

Many of our congregation belong to groups of around 10 people that meet each week in a member's home. These groups meet to worship, study the bible and pray together. Meeting in small groups such as these alongside the larger meetings on a Sunday makes it easier for friendships to form and for people to care for one another.

Knit and Natter

Meeting every Wednesday at 2.15pm in the Church Hall this is great way to meet friends with more yarn than they know what to do with.  Knitters, crocheters, experienced hands or new and still learning, everyone is welcome.

Lunch Club

Tuesday lunchtime is an opportunity for a meal for people over a certain age, whilst chatting in a friendly environment.

Cross Keys cafe

Every Monday 9:30am to 1pm in the Church Hall - with tasty snacks, hot drinks and plenty of people to chat with.  Everyone welcome

Tiddlywinks

Monday 1.30 - 3.00pm during term time in the church hall. There are books, puzzles, toys, games & craft activities for children under five & their carer’s, plus singing & story time too.

Mission

We also support various missions locally and around the world. He are more details of the missions we support.

During the month:

ReCreate

Meeting 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 10am in the Church Hall this is a great way to explore your creative side alongside your spirituality – bring your own projects or use the resources provided.  Everyone welcome

ALPHA (www.alpha.org)

A great way to find out more about what it means to be a Christian.  Over 10 weeks we learn and grow together by sharing food, hearing a talk and discussing what we think.  An easy and sociable way to explore the Christian faith.  Our Alpha Course usually runs during the Autumn term.

Thirsty Thursdays

A men’s group committed to growing friendships, socialising and laughing together, usually in The White Swan pub over the road from church. Please check our latest magazine for this month’s meeting date. Contact Steve Dring for more information.

Churchyard Cleanup

A team of volunteers meeting on the third Saturday of the month 9.30am.  Bring your own tools and work alongside others to keep the churchyard looking tidy and welcoming to all our visitors.
